AIM - Development Executive Programs

We are pleased to invite you to the Development Executive Programs (DEPs) of the Center for Development Management (CDM) of AIM. DEP courses are short, non-degree training and certificate programs designed to specifically address the knowledge and training requirements of professional development managers in Asia. These trainings are intensive, practitioner-oriented, and combines a variety of methods: lecture, discussion, workshops, case method, and analysis.

For this year, we would like to offer our three-part Leadership and Management Development Course Series which will be held at AIM campus, Philippines. The series consists of three successive and interlinked courses as follows:

Strategic Management for Development Managers (SMDM)

Scheduled on November 17 to 21, 2008,

Prepares development managers to make strategic decisions and equips with the perspective that one can emerge as a winner despite inferior resources;

Leadership and Management of Change (LMC)

Scheduled on November 24 to 28, 2008,

Will equip participants to lead their organizations during times of organizational change; and

Leadership for Results: Results-Based Management Principles and Practices (RBM)

Scheduled on December 1 to 5, 2008,

Will introduce participants to results-based management principles and practices in development institutions.

The Leadership Development Course Series will develop well-rounded development managers capable of making strategic decisions, leading their organizations successfully through times of change, and generating visible results. Taken together, the three-part series will walk participants through various aspects of leadership and management and equip them with tools to deal with various challenges.

The courses can be taken independently, in clusters of two, or as a three-part series. As they are scheduled within two days of each other, participants will have the option of going through the modules progressively. Participants enrolling in more than one course will enjoy substantial discounts.

· Program fee for each individual course is USD$875 per participant.

· Program fee for two courses is USD$1,450 (a discount of 13%)

· Program fee for the whole series is USD$2,200 (a discount of 23%)
