In Today's business world non-finance managers are often called upon to make quick and accurate decision about financial issues. The higher you rise in an organization, the more important such financial and management accounting information. This course is designed to provide you with an understanding of financial management principles and equip you with the practical skills to develop informed and effective financial plans. You will learn business critical skills and analyzing financial statements, applied corporate finance, investment decision making, strategic management and the financial planning process. This course will enable you to contribute discussions about the financial performance of your organization or business unit and will give you the confidence to make decisions based on financial information.

Associateship of The Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) in Jakarta

Intake 2009

MII in collaboration with the University of Indonesia is pleased to inform that the 2009 AMII programme in Jakarta is now opened for registration. This intake will commence on 6 February 2009. Please register by 15 January 2009.

The AMII is designed to produce highly qualified and capable individuals who will be capable of meeting the challenges of fast growth and sustainable progress, which emerging markets must achieve to catch up with global insurance developments.

For your information, the AMII qualification is given advance standing towards obtaining the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) qualification. Subjects taken in the AMII programme will earn credit transfer and exemption for CII subjects. Our current understanding with CII is that AMII holders may work towards obtaining the ACII qualification by just passing one or two CII Advance Diploma subjects direct with CII.

Another advantage of the AMII programme is conducted on a continuous assessment basis. Students' assignments, test, project paper and class attendance will be assessed and contribute to the final examination. This method of study is most suitable for working adults.

PRIMAVERA PROJECT PLANNER (P3)

Latar Belakang
Semakin besar proyek yang ditangani berarti akan semakin kompleks proses perencanaan, pengendalian dan pemantauan yang harus dilakukan agar diperoleh hasil yang sesuai dengan kondisi yang diharapkan. Hasil yang sesuai, berarti sesuai baik dari sisi waktu pengerjaan, penggunaan sumber daya, kualitas dan biaya yang dialokasinya. Untuk membantu proses-proses tersebut, maka diperlukan penggunaan alat bantu atau perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan penyusunan jadwal pengerjaan, alokasi sumber daya baik material maupun non material, alokasi biaya, dan pemantauan terhadap perkembangan project dari waktu ke waktu. Sehingga di harapkan varian antara rencana dengan kondisi aktual dapat ditekan seminimal mungkin. Primavera Project Planner atau yang lebih dikenal dengan P3, merupakan sebuah perangkat lunak yang hadir untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut di atas. Sehingga proses perencanaan dan pemantauan perkembangan proyek dapat dilakukan dengan cara yang efektif.

Sasaran Program
Setelah mengikuti training dan workshop ini, maka diharapkan peserta dapat:
- Menyusun rencana kerja dengan menggunakan P3.
- Membuat dan mendefinisikan Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Melakukan pengalokasian sumber daya dengan menggunakan P3.

- Membuat dan menyajikan laporan proyek dengan menggunakan P3.
