ABOUT THE COURSE
This course surveys the broad areas of planning, budgeting and managing for value creation. Starting with strategic planning using internal and external analysis, succeeded by budget as annual plan that creates profit planning and operations analysis to set milestones for the value goals. Participants will also learn how to relate strategy, long term plan, and the master budget, and how to conduct operational and managerial controls and propose actions through hands on examples, exercises and cases. Discussion will be extended to applying contemporary financial techniques drawn from world class companies.
