”Advanced Project Management: Applications in the biofuel, energy, plantation, infrastructure & manufacturing sectors ” |
, scheduled from 19 to 20 August 2008 at the Ritz-Carlton Bali Resort & Spa, Bali, Indonesia. |
What do many of today’s projects have in common? The resounding answer is schedule slippages and cost overruns. While this is common knowledge, what is not generally known is that many projects are “dead on arrival”. A strategically misaligned project or one with flawed business case would generate no business value, even if it is completed within the “triple constraints” and would be considered a failure.
With wide applications to the emerging sectors in biofuel, energy, plantation, infrastructure & manufacturing, this 2 day Advanced Seminar focuses on how to turn business strategy into results through effective selection of strategically aligned projects with a solid business case coupled with efficient execution. It offers the most advanced tools and metrics that will help you plan, monitor and complete your projects successfully. It will also enable the development of project management skills to complement technical expertise and provide the skills stakeholders require. It shows a roadmap to achieve organizational success through project success. To illustrate lessons taught, the seminar will also introduce many real-life project management exercises and case studies in a broad segment of industries including but limited to:
Biofuels & Clean EnergyEnergy, Power, Oil & Gas
Agriculture & Plantations
Infrastructure & Transportation
Manufacturing
IT & Technology
